Furnishings: This is what HYGGE HOUSE has
The Ground Floor
You enter the house through the garden, which is at your exclusive disposal. The property is fully fenced and has a wooden terrace where you can have breakfast and chill out. In the hallway, a stylish wardrobe awaits you, which we had made from an old wooden staircase. To the left there is a small retro-style guest bath and opposite, a beautiful, massive sliding door hangs on the lovingly constructed exposed brickwork. You enter the living room through the bright hallway. A stylish dining and living area await you here.
The Kitchen
A high-quality, 3.40-metre-long kitchen counter is a playground for ambitious cooks. Among other things, you will find a refrigerator, an oven, and a dishwasher, as well as high-quality appliances.
Living Room
The large room has a dining area with a view of the garden and the village church, as well as a TV/ chill-out corner with three sleeping options. The 1.40 m wide sofa bed offers a comfortable place to sleep for two people and the wonder cube can be converted into an ultra-comfortable bed in a few simple steps.
The large chest of drawers can also be used as a dog crate, if your four-legged friend likes to chill in a closed space. A display cabinet made of wood and steel fits perfectly into the interior: a mixture of country house and industrial design. The cast-iron fireplace provides a cosy atmosphere on cold days and your four-legged friend can make himself comfortable in the dog bed. There is floor heating throughout the house.
The Upper Floor
A steel staircase with steps made of local oak wood leads to the light-flooded and spacious upper floor. To the left of the staircase, we have created a small sitting and reading area, to the right there is a small dressing room. The old double bed in the bedroom, accompanied by beautiful chests of drawers, blends harmoniously into the ambience, which is characterised by old wooden beams and the high sloping ceiling.
The large bathroom with ground-level shower has a window, high-quality furniture and a few old items that caught our eye at flea markets and antique shops. Towels are provided.
The Garden
The garden is intimate and magical. The old village church, which is beautifully lit in the evening, provides a charming backdrop. The church bell rings only once a day: at 6 pm in summer and at 5 pm in winter – for about 10-15 seconds.
In May you can gaze upon an old lilac tree, and a magnolia delights you with its blossoms in March. An old vine adorns the brick wall around the patio door. Otherwise, you will find only a few bushes, some lavender, and a lot of lawn. A high-quality wooden terrace with garden furniture makes the garden perfect.
