We have experienced every type of dog holiday: a holiday home without a garden or fence (not possible at all), a disaster with an unfenced garden (also not a solution), a fenced-in holiday home with an almost non-existent garden (not much fun); but also – what a joy – a holiday home with a fenced garden in an idyllic, secluded location. Enthusiastic about the last option, we at HYGGE HAUS had not only the building itself in mind from the very beginning, but also its immediate surroundings.
For us, dog friendly holidays mean that dogs should be able to enjoy their freedom while their owners can relax. That is why the fenced garden was an essential part of our concept from the start.

Our fenced-in property is located in Brandenburg, south-west of the capital: about 40 km from West Berlin and 30 km from Potsdam. So, you are not far from the action and yet surrounded by nature. On the “Places of Interest” page, you will find excursion destinations in the area that we have selected for you.
Brandenburg is an ideal setting for dog friendly holidays: there are plenty of opportunities for long walks, exploring the countryside and spending time outdoors together. After a day of adventure, your dog can safely unwind in the fenced garden while you enjoy the tranquillity of HYGGE HAUS.
Luxury holiday home for you and your dog
A fenced property is far from all that HYGGE HAUS has to offer. We chose ecological building materials for the renovation and furnished every room with style. Thanks to modern technology such as underfloor heating, electric skylight blinds, a ceiling fan, a dishwasher and all kinds of creature comforts, our renovation project has become a luxury holiday home for dogs and humans.
The cast-iron fireplace, sunny terrace and fenced garden complete the holiday experience – and make HYGGE HAUS a place where dog friendly holidays are just as comfortable for the humans as they are for their four-legged companions.
