Luxury also means being able to sit back and relax, surround yourself with beautiful things, forget all your worries and make the most of your time away. Of course, that is much easier when the atmosphere is right and the amenities mean you never have to improvise.
A luxury holiday home is also a place where you don’t have to wash the dishes by hand, where you can snuggle up on the sofa under a wonderfully soft blanket and watch the fire crackle, stretch out on a sun lounger in the garden or retreat into the shade under the parasol on a hot summer day. Exclusive holiday homes often come with gold-plated taps or retractable televisions. HYGGE HAUS has neither, because we are not fans of pomp and extravagance. To us, “exclusive” means unique – and our Niebel retreat certainly is.
At our beautiful home, you can let your mind wander, feast your eyes and simply switch off. You are surrounded by high-quality, handcrafted and creative objects that give HYGGE HAUS its distinctive character and bring its soul to life.
A holiday home for discerning guests
We have often paid a lot of money for accommodation where we had to drink wine from coffee mugs and eat breakfast eggs from deodorant caps because there were no proper egg cups. That’s why we created HYGGE HAUS as a luxury holiday home where nothing important is missing.
The kitchen is equipped for all kinds of culinary adventures, with high-quality essentials ranging from a French press, teapot and water carafe to a toaster, kettle and food processor. If you feel like baking, you can do that too: kitchen scales, a hand mixer and baking trays are all provided.
You can enjoy your wine from proper wine glasses and prepare your salad in a glass bowl rather than a plastic one. What we mean is simple: you don’t have to compromise or give up the comforts you are used to. You don’t have to improvise or make the best of a bad situation.
High-quality technology
What could be better in winter than warm feet? The entire floor at HYGGE HAUS is fitted with underfloor heating, providing cosy warmth from below.
In the bathroom, you can enjoy a relaxing shower without having to step over anything: the beautifully tiled shower is completely level-access. On hot summer days, a remote-controlled ceiling fan provides a gentle breeze. The electric skylight blinds can also be operated by remote control.
The soft organic cotton mosquito net not only keeps insects away while you sleep but also adds an extra touch of heavenly cosiness to the bed.
Luxury holiday home for dogs, too
If you are travelling with your four-legged friend, you don’t have to worry about bringing all the necessary equipment or food. HYGGE HAUS provides everything dogs need: several dog beds, a blanket for the sofa, bowls in different sizes, dog towels, a dog shower in the garden and a supply of poo bags.
Those who feed fresh food can use the extra freezer specifically provided for BARF food. The food processor is perfect for puréeing vegetables, while the kitchen scales help meticulous or inexperienced BARF feeders prepare the right portions.
And if that’s still not enough for a luxury holiday home, there is the beautiful handmade chest of drawers that doubles as a cosy dog house.
